WATCH: Shopper narrowly escapes ceiling collapse
CCTV footage has gone viral showing a shopper narrowly escaping being crushed by collapsing ceiling.
The video was made available on YouTube by Arrive Alive.
It is understood the incident happened at Johannesburg's East Rand Mall.
The shopper can be seen in the video making a dramatic escape moments before the wall collapses.
According to reports there were no damage caused or injuries sustained during the incident.
