WATCH: Section of M4 closed as ground caves in
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
The M4 between Sibaya and Umhlanga has been temporarily closed, due to the ground underneath the road being washed away.
This follows as heavy rains continue to pour down in large parts of the province.
eThekwini Metro spokesperson, Parboo Sewpersad says road assessments are being done by the Department of Transport and city engineers.
"Both carriageways have been closed due to a wash away that has taken place north of the Light House off-ramp," he said.
