WATCH: SABC staff clash with management over job cuts

Staff in the SABC newsroom have confronted the public broadcaster's management over planned retrenchments.

In a heated meeting that was broadcast live on yesterday - the employees said they wouldn't allow the job cuts and called for management to resign.
Around 400 full-time workers could lose their jobs.
On Tuesday, the SABC announced it recorded a net loss of R511 million in the past financial year.
According to reports the SABC has halted the retrenchment process.
