WATCH: Pupils, driver escape fiery PMB crash
Updated | By Sandile Bhengu
A group of pupils and their driver had a narrow escape after the vehicle they were in burst into flames in Pietermaritzburg.

Paramedics say the car caught alight at the intersection of Richmond and Alexandra roads on Wednesday afternoon.
It rolled across the road and into a petrol station before coming to a halt against a safety bumper.
KwaZulu Private Ambulance Services' Craig Botha says the driver and the children were all unharmed.
He says a petrol attendant suffered smoke inhalation while trying to help.
"Fire and rescue service were on scene and they extinguished the fire before it could spread any further.
"Paramedics assessed the scene and found that one patient sustained minor injuries and was treated on scene before being transported to hospital."
