Drone footage of whales celebrating the birth of a newborn - off a KwaZulu-Natal Coast - is going viral.

The incredible video was posted on Twitter by WildAid Africa.
Its garnered over 45 000 views, 1 300 likes and 690 retweets at the time of publication.
According to WildAid Africa, the footage was captured by Beth Neale in Green Point Clansthal beach, KwaZulu-Natal.
In the 51 second clip, the newborn humpback is seen swimming along with two whales, while dolphins join in the celebrations.
