WATCH: M4 Highway between Umhlanga, Sibaya reopens
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The M4 Ruth First Highway between Umhlanga and Sibaya has officially been reopened.

The busy highway was closed seven months ago after heavy rains and storms caused the partial collapse of the route.
On Friday morning, KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala and other officials declared the R45 million repair project over.
Zikalala says the M4 is an important access route for people living in areas north of Durban, like Umhlanga, La Mercy and Tongaat.
"They use this road instead of using the N2, but equally it offloads on those who are tourists because tourists will want to connect between Ballito, Umhlanga and Durban."
