WATCH LIVE: Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes memorial service
South African rapper Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes will be remembered during a memorial service on Friday afternoon.
The service will take place at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg at 3pm.
The 'Fela in Versace' hitmaker was shot and killed last week Friday night on the popular Florida Road strip in Durban.
His close friend, Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane, was also killed during the shooting outside a restaurant.
Motsoane's memorial service was held on Thursday evening, where he was described as a goal-driven entrepreneur.
Earlier this week, the Forbes family released details on the slain rapper's memorial and funeral details.
The family allowed the memorial to be opened to the public, but a limited number of free tickets were made available to fans via a ticket-booking website.
AKA's latest single, 'Company' was released ahead of the memorial service on Friday, with his album still on track to be released next Friday.
He will be laid to rest on Saturday at a private service.
