WATCH: KwaDukuza beaches closed amid rough seas
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
All beaches, launch sites and tidal pools in KwaDukuza have been closed due to rough seas.
The municipality says massive waves are damaging some of the local infrastructure.
Some videos show waves crashing over the shoreline at Salt Rock into a nearby river.
Di Jones from the Dolphin Coast Conservancy has urged people not to go near the water.

"Sharks nets have been taken out, plus there is all sorts of debris floating around. Some of the infrastructures have also been taken out. Nobody has been able to assess it yet because the tides are very high.
"Although it might be low tides, it is not usual low tides. We can't tell yet what needs to be replaced. There will be some repair done."
Jones says a massive clean-up is planned for next week at beaches on the Dolphin Coast.
