WATCH: Isipingo girl meets her hero, President Cyril Ramaphosa
A Durban girl's dreams of meeting the President have come true.
"My dream came true, I met my president. President Cyril Ramaphosa! This was the best day of my life and I will never forget this day!" said 4-year-old Mehran Dildar.
The excited little girl and her family from Isipingo was given the opportunity to meet with President Cyril Ramaphosa yesterday.
He'd come to the Durban port for an oversight visit.
Her mother, Fatima said her daughter's birthday wish was to meet the president and has videos of her crying because he was taking so long to meet her.
"I then decided to tag the Presidency on her videos (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter). Her videos went viral and she was featured on TV, radio, magazines and newspapers since April 2020."
She added that on the 26th of March she received a call from the president's office telling her that President wants Mehran to know that he's watching her, listening to her and loves her videos and he can't wait to meet her.
And so a meeting was set up.

The 4-year-old did not know about this until the day of the meeting.
Her family says little Mehran wants to be a leader, just like Ramaphosa, and help people. "Remember, follow your dreams. Believe in yourself because dreams can come true."
