WATCH: Firefighters continue to battle fire along South Coast Road
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
Strong winds have fuelled a fire at a warehouse along South Coast Road, south of Durban.
Listen to the full bulletin below.
Firefighters and emergency services are facing an uphill battle to get the blaze under control.
The entire building in Rossburgh is well alight and large orange flames are burning through the roof - with strong winds fuelling the blaze.
Groups of people are stopping at the side of the road to watch the flames while billowing black smoke can be seen from as far as Umhlanga and Westville.
One person has sustained minor injuries to his hand and has been treated by paramedics. Rescue Care paramedics say he has since been taken to hospital.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson has described the fire as extremely volatile, with the wind hampering firefighters' work at the scene.
It is not yet clear what sparked the blaze at this stage.
