WATCH: Fire between Pringle and Betty's Bay rages on
Updated | By Heart FM
The Overstrand Municipality says the fire between Pringle Bay and Betty's Bay is still burning out of control.

The blaze along the Hangklip mountains broke out on Monday.
Authorities say residents were evacuated on Tuesday afternoon but were allowed to return to their homes in the evening.
Mayor Annelie Rabie says the teams trying to bring the fire under control are also busy protecting properties.
"We have 120 people on the ground, 30 vehicles in the field, three helicopters in the air; we have support from the City of Town and George.
"We are busy with protection structures, and we have a lot of water being used to keep flames away from the houses. Some of it is close to a metre from a house and then we stop it."

The picturesque town of Hangklip in the Western Cape is almost completely covered by smoke.
This as wild fires continue to eat away the countryside of the province.
