WATCH: Ambulances race to get to crash scene first
A video showing an emergency vehicle allegedly blocking the movement of another emergency vehicle has surfaced.
It's understood the two ambulances were rushing to an accident scene near East London.
The video, which was made available on Facebook by user Peter Opperman, caused a stir and a flood of reaction on social media.
The ambulance can be seen refusing to give way and visibly blocking the path on the freeway.
At one point, the paramedic filming the video, can be heard screaming in fear as both vehicles travel at a high speed.
The ambulance has its siren and lights on.
News24 reports the driver has since been suspended.
