The KZN teenager who found a piece of plane debris which has now been confirmed to have been part of the ill-fated MH370 says he hopes officials will continue to dig until they are certain about what happened to the flight.

Eighteen-year-old Liam Lotter from Wartburg and his cousin Calvin, had been walking on a beach in Mozambique in December when they made the find.
"It feels a bit crazy. What if I just left it there at the beach like my cousin told me to - where would we be now? There are so many people that could've stumbled across it.

"Me and my cousin, Calvin are the people who happened to have stumbled across this. Now, they know it's more than what they thought it is and hopefully, the search can continue.
"Pieces [of the puzzle] are coming together. Of course, you have to continue the search, you can't just stop here," he said.
The aircraft went missing two years ago during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing - with 239 people on board.
