Warmer weather forecast this weekend
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The South African Weather Services says KZN residents can expect warmer weather this weekend after last weeks cold front and snow.

Forecaster Thandiwe Gumede says from Saturday we can expect partly cloudy and cool conditions.
"Saturday will be mainly partly cloudy and cool. Then there is a slight chance of afternoon isolated showers and thunder showers mainly over the western parts and the extreme southern parts of KZN", she said.
Gumede says similar conditions can be expected on Sunday.
"Similar conditions can be expected on Sunday except there is a 30% chance if isolated showers and thundershowers except in the extreme northeast of KZN", she said.
She says some models are showing some snow in Lesotho over the next five days but that it would be too soon to tell if we would be affected here.
"There is a 50% chance of rain for both Monday and Tuesday. There is a possibility of snow just after the weekend but this will be updated in time", Gumede said.
