Updated | By Portia Cele
Children with limited and no access to cancer treatment facilities will now have improved chances of becoming recipients of early diagnosis and treatment.
The Childhood Cancer Foundation and Campaigning for Cancer have partnered to launch a campaign highlighting the prevalence of cancer amongst children.
Vuka Khuluma aims to increase diagnoses of cancer and related disorders in children between 0 to 16 years in KZN and make available treatment in the early stages of the condition.

Programme development manager, Adri Ludick says the campaign encourages communities to rally and support children within disadvantaged communities.
According to CANSA, between 800 and 1 000 South African children under the age of 15 are diagnosed with cancer each year.
Ludick says there's a lack of knowledge of the early warning signs of childhood cancer.
Ludick elaborates on how the launch of this campaign came about.
