Voting station moved in Umlazi
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka

Locals at the infamous Glebelands Hostel stood outside their community hall which was padlocked waiting for voter registration to commence.
However there was a change in plans they weren't aware of. Registration had to be moved from the local hall to the nearby Glebelands stadium.
The Independent Electoral Commission says this was because the hall appears to have been double booked.
However Newswatch has learnt from reliable sources that the move was due to safety concerns. Violence has flared up in the area in recent times prompting Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela to investigate.
Meanwhile other residents at uMlazi's T-Section say they look forward to voting to effect change in the area.
