Voter registration: People with address issues can still register
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
People who have concerns about their addresses on the voters' roll can still register and check their details at their local IEC office.

Voters can do so until the official proclamation of the local government elections.
Newswatch received a number of complaints from voters across the country saying their addresses did not appear, or appeared incorrectly, on the voters' roll.

The IEC wrapped up it's final registration drive ahead of the 2016 local government elections yesterday.
These residents have told Newswatch they don't feel registering is important.
The IEC was unavailable for comment on the issue around addresses.
The elections take place on the August 3.
