Video shows last moments of slain children
CCTV footage of two eight-year-old children soon after their disappearance has assisted police in solving a Germiston murder case.
A 40-year-old man linked to the disappearance of two cousins has appeared in court yesterday - facing murder charges.
This after a video recorded by a shop's CCTV camera was released, and family members then searched for the suspect - handing him over to the police.
The footage shows one of the children, wearing a pink T-shirt walking with the accused.
The bodies of the youngsters were found abandoned near a mortuary in Germiston, Johannesburg on Monday. They were last seen the day before.
