Victims of N3 pile-up to be laid to rest on Saturday
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Three members of a family, who died in a massive multiple-vehicle pile up on the N3 near Hilton, will be laid to rest in Durban on Saturday.
Ralph Francis, his wife Michelle and 17-year-old son Matthew were killed in the crash on Monday.
Their daughter Janine is in a serious condition in hospital.
Over 40 vehicles and trucks were involved in the crash - which saw six people killed and at least 78 injured.
Ralph's brother Christopher Francis says they will be laid to rest in Chatsworth.
"Those four were very close, it's like you're taking two bubblegums and sticking them together. That's how close they were. Even if they went shopping, they would go in four.”
