Victim shares 'traumatic' robbery ordeal at Montclair fuel station
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
A Durban man whose car was stolen at gunpoint says he told himself in that moment to stay calm and not be a hero.

The 28-year-old was accosted at a fuel station in Montclair on Tuesday.
The man, who asked not be named, says he was buying items from the outside window of the garage store when he felt a hand brush against his back.
He says he thought it was someone he knew, but instead heard a strange voice telling him to hand over his car keys, while a gun was pressed into his waist.
The gunman tried to take the man's phone out of his hand but the victim says he quickly threw it, along with his wallet, into the shop through the cashier's window.
CCTV footage shows one suspect trying to pull the motorist to the car but the man does not budge.
He is hit him in the face, pushed to sit on the floor and patted down for the keys.
The victim tells the suspect that the key is in the car.
A second armed man takes over the pat down, looking for other valuables.
When his accomplice manages to start the car, he leaves the victim and they speed off in the stolen vehicle.
Sharing his ordeal with Newswatch, the young man says it was a traumatic experience. He says he was also left with an awful feeling of having his space invaded.
Montclair police are still the looking for the suspects and the car.
