Verulam rape victim in counselling
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
A Durban woman is undergoing counselling after she was raped and then robbed at knifepoint by her attacker, in Verulam.

The 33-year-old woman was walking to a supermarket on Valley View Road yesterday, when she was dragged into a nearby bush by the man.
The police's Thembeka Mbhele says he then made off with the woman's money and cellphone.
Mbhele says a case of rape is being investigated by the Verulam Family Violence, Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) and that the victim is undergoing counselling.
She says no arrests have been made yet.
