Verulam mom, son in court for murder
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
A Verulam woman has been granted bail after she and her son were charged with murder in connection with her partner's death.
Prosecutors say it's alleged an argument broke out between the 43-year-old woman and the man last week.
Using a knife, her 24-year-old son allegedly then stabbed her partner, who began assaulting her.
KZN National Prosecution Authority spokesperson Natasha Kara says the pair was arrested on Friday and lined up in court on Monday.
