The speeding case against former Cosatu general secretary Zwelinzima Vavi has been postponed to next year.
Vavi appeared in the Edenvale Magistrate's Court today after he was caught allegedly speeding last month.
He was among six people arrested on October 4 for speeding in the Ekurhuleni metro.
Media reports at the time said he was driving at 207km/h.
On October 5, Vavi took to Twitter to confirm that he had appeared in court for speeding.
His lawyer Ziphokuhle Modisane today handed over a list of requests to the State.
The case has been postponed to January 12, 2016.
