URAP ranks UKZN third top university in SA

The University of KwaZulu-Natal has been ranked as the third top performing university out of sixteen universities in South Africa.

The University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) recently released their findings - with the University of Cape Town and the Wits University also making the list.
Globally, UCT is ranked at 240, Wits follows at 316, while UKZN comes in at 369.
The top five in SA is rounded off by Stellenbosch University - coming in at number 418 and the University of Pretoria in at 459.
The URAP methodology is based on academic performance determined by the quality and quantity of scholarly publications. The ranking system also considers the performance of global collaborative research.
