UPDATE: Recovery underway on Durban's N2
The N2 North near the Spaghetti Junction remains closed. Recovery operations are still underway after a truck collided with a bakkie earlier today.
The truck had been carrying a load of paint which was spilled on the busy highway.
Durban Metro Police's Sibonelo Mchunu says there is heavy congestion and clearing the road will take a while.

"It's quite a disastrous incident. Traffic has been backed up to the M7 on the N2. Therefore, we advise motorists not to proceed to the N3 or the N2," he said.
Three people were hurt in the accident.
UPDATE: The N2, Northbound has since been reopened.
