UPDATE: N3 reopened after Montrose fatal crash
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
Recovery crews have managed to re-open both carriageways on the N3 in the Free State following the major crash near Montrose this morning.

Three people were killed in the collision involving three heavy duty vehicles.
The N3 Toll Concession says motorists can still expect delays as the traffic backlog begins to clear.
The traffic backlog through Van Reenen's Pass extends for about 20k and could take more than an hour to clear.
Spokesperson Andy Visser had advised motorists to delay their trips for several-hours.
''We are advising motorists to rather delay their departures with about 3-5 hours. There is spillage in that area which requires clean up,'' she said.
