Unemployed social workers continue picket in PMB

The Department of Social Development in KwaZulu-Natal says it's working with the government to find a solution for unemployed social workers.
A group has been protesting outside the premier's office in Pietermaritzburg 's Langalibalele Street.
The job seekers kicked off pickets last week to demand employment.
The department's Mhlabunzima Memela says they're appealing for assistance from the private sector.

"We believe all other departments or private sector that are also in need of social workers.
"They should get ion this group and able to help and provide them jobs, because, as you know, in schools you also need to social workers and other departments need social workers."
