Undocumented foreign nationals to be tracked down - Ramaphosa
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
President Cyril Ramaphosa says they've launched a project to track down foreign nationals who don't have the correct documents to be in the country.

He acknowledged it's a serious challenge.
The issue of illegal immigrants was thrust into the spotlight last week after a fire ripped through a building in Johannesburg, killing 77 people, many of them foreigners.
"A number of them being addressed and those who do not have permits to be in South Africa better know from now that South Africans want this country to be occupied by people who have documents and who are citizens of our country,” the president said.
Ramaphosa delivered the ANC's 2019 election manifesto review at an event at Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Sunday.
ANC Youth League leader Collen Malatji says some places have been overwhelmed by illegal immigrants.
"All the towns in South Africa have been taken over by illegal foreigners, and because of high levels of unemployment in South Africa, young people are all over the street and smoking drugs. We are saying that all of the buildings, the minister of police and defence, go and clean out those buildings."
