Uncertainty around future salary payments for SA Express employees
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
The SA Transport and Allied Workers Union is seeking clarity from the management of SA Express about the future of employees at the airline.

SA Express's fleet was grounded last month after aviation authorities found the airline did not comply with safety requirements.
The Department of Public Enterprises has stepped in to ensure staff get paid salaries for June.
But SATAWU's Zanele Sabelo says nothing has been said about the coming months.
"It's unfair on them not to know that on a month-to-month basis - will they be paid and what is going on. Although we've had regular engagements with the acting CEO, she hasn't confirmed whether there's a proper financial plan in place that will fund operations going forward," Sabelo said.
