UMsunduzi investigates after girl (4) killed in suspected electrocution
Updated | By Nomfundo Ngcobo
UMsunduzi municipality says it's seeking clarity around circumstances of a suspected transformer electrocution which claimed the life of a four year old girl.

The city says it will not take full responsibility pending the post-mortem results to determine the cause of death of Amukelwa Mohammed who is believed to have been electrocuted by one of uMsunduzi transformers early this week.
Municipal spokesperson Thobeka Mafumbatha says the municipality is interacting with the family.
"This is a rather unfortuante incident and in light of what has happened the municipality will be investigating", she said.
Residents are urged to educate their children about playing in areas that may be hazardous to them.
"We believe that when the girl was walking past the transformer due to her age she would not have been able to know that this a transformer and that she is in a dangerous area", Mafumbatha said.
