Umlazi teen murder case postponed
The bail application of the five accused charged with the murder of an Umlazi teenager- who was found beheaded - has been postponed until next week in the Umlazi Magistrate's Court.
Fifteen-year-old Thembinkosi Mhlongo's body was found in the township's F Section earlier this month.
The matter which was in camera as some of the accused are minors was brief with only relatives of the two minors being allowed to stay in court.
Outside on the benches, family members of the rest of the accused angrily talked amongst themselves dissatisfied with not being able to at least see their loved ones in the dock.

They say the last court appearance also saw them seated outside on the benches and they left the court without seeing their children.
The family members who were called into court once the matter had been adjourned told Newswatch that the bail application couldn't go ahead as some of the accused alternative addresses couldn't be verified by the investigating officer.
The five are due back in court on the 25th.
