Umlazi man arrested for alleged rape of minors
A case of sexual assault is being investigated by police after an Umlazi man was arrested for the alleged rape of three minors.
The man was apprehended yesterday after police and the department of social development received a tip-off from a neighbour.
According to police the man - who is in his 30's lured boys aged between 7 and 10 into his bedroom.

The MEC of Social Development, Nonhlanhla Khoza says the suspect was a trusted figure in the community.
Khoza says they will continue to fight against sexual abuse but also rely on the communities for information.
She urges victims of sexual assault to come forward.
"There might be some children out there who are afraid to come forward and tell their parents. We urge the communities to take care of the children because they need us in these difficult times," she said.
The suspect is appearing to today at the Umlazi Magistrate Court.
