uMhlathuze to issue NUF number plates moving forward
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
The City of uMhlathuze's announced that all vehicles registered under its jurisdiction, from next month, will be issued with number plates bearing the letters NUF.

Officials say the administration system, eNatis, has run out of the NRB plates.
Officials have cited an increase in applications due to the growing licencing population in the Richards Bay area.

NUF, which stands for Natal Umfolozi, is allocated to drivers in Empangeni which also falls under uMhlathuze.
The City's said in a statement that the department cannot create a new licence mark for Richards Bay.
It says it's trying to get approval from Cabinet in KZN to migrate from the current discreet numbering system to the continuous numbering system.
