Grid ‘in precarious situation’ ahead of winter
Updated | By Steve Bhengu

Blom says the country is in a precarious situation.
"When it will be stage 8, 9 or 10 - from forecasting for the rest of winter which is until the end of August because the situation is so bad that it changes on an hourly or weekly basis.
"Now they are running with less than half of the safety margin, which I think is criminal and it makes the system even more unpredictable."
