The City of uMhlathuze's rubbished claims that
the municipality's in a financial crisis.

Mayor Xolani Ngwezi hit back at the contents of a letter written by ANC Provincial Secretary Bheki Mtolo, claiming the city is in a financial mess.
Ngwezi says that's not true.
"Our finances are healthy as evident in the latest auditor-general's report. The municipal manager's public files prove that, and we urge individuals to rely on reports from credible state institutions like the auditor-general."
