Umgeni Water confirms water returns to KwaDukuza today
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Umgeni Water officials say areas around KwaDukuza, that had their water supply turned off for a 12-hour repair operation, should start receiving the resource again this morning.

"Yesterday evening, work had been completed. Consumers will start receiving their water today - no later than 10am."
Several areas have been affected including the Kwadukuza CBD and Stanger Manor.
Umgeni Water's Shami Harichunder says they had to shut down the lower Thukela system - to repair a leak on a main pipe.
He says there seems to be a problem inside a newly installed pipe - they don't know why it keeps leaking.
"There's been two or three leaks already. A full scale investigation is being conducted to try ascertain clearly what has caused the leak. We are hoping within a day or two - we will have a full report," Harichunder said.
