Umalusi has back-up plan in wake of leaked matric paper
Updated | By Andrew Robertson
Education quality assurance council, Umalusi says it has contingency plans in place for the leaked matric exam paper.

Basic Education said yesterday that the National Senior Certificate Maths Paper 2 had leaked in Limpopo and Gauteng, hours before learners had to write their paper.
An investigation to determine the source of the leak and the extent of it is continuing.
Umalusi says the unauthorised release of the question paper puts the examinations at risk.
The quality assurance council's spokesperson, Lucky Ditaunyane says there's a possibility that the affected schools would have to rewrite the paper.

Lucky Ditaunyane's been speaking about the possibility of a rewrite, for the affected schools.
"For each and every examination, we have what we call a back-up paper. A back paper is completely different from the paper that the learners write for the first time."
