UKZN officials address protesting students
Updated | By Chanelle Lutchman
Protesting workers and students at UKZN's Howard College campus are now being addressed by university officials.
They've continued with protests over outsourcing, threatening to continue disrupting lectures until a solution is found.
Workers want the university to hire them directly.

The ANCYL branch secretary Sandile Ngcobo says they understand a task team have been set up to look into the matter but has questions for management.
"We want to find out who is in that task team and why are the student leaders and the workers not part of that particular task team. We want the institution to give us dates and timelines in terms of when exactly they're going to put down an amicable solution to this protest," he said.
