UKZN lectures expected to resume tomorrow

The University of KwaZulu-Natal says lectures that were cancelled today are expected to resume tomorrow.

The institution has taken a decision to suspended all academic activity at five of its campuses.
A week-long protest has taken place - where students demanded proper residences and no-fee increases for the prospective year.
The university says the decision to suspend lectures for the day was taken after consultations with the SRC.
UKZN has apologised for any inconvenience - urging students to adhere to university rules, regulations and protocols dealing with grievances, complaints and other matters of concern.
Meanwhile, at the Mangosuthu University of Technology - management is investigating the cause after six buses were torched at the institution on Friday night.
Authorities say the student bus transport system has not been disrupted.
