UKZN delays reopening of campuses by 2 weeks
Updated | By Newswatch
The University of KwaZulu-Natal will no longer be reopening its campuses on Monday.
The institution says it's decided to push back the date for the resumption of on-campus activities to the 18th of January after eThekwini and uMgungundlovu were declared COVID-19 hotspots by government earlier this week.
It says registration for the 2021 academic year will begin on this date.
But the university has stressed registration must be done online and remotely.

Management says there won't be any registration services or assistance available on all campuses.
UKZN says all academic activities will remain online, and data will continue to be provided.
