UKZN campuses quiet ahead of proposed fees strike
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
While lectures have resumed at UKZN, many students have stayed away after a message warning of a fees-related strike was circulated on social media.

The scenes at both the Howard College and Westville campuses have been relatively quiet.
There is, however, a strong police presence on the two campuses.
Newswatch spoke to a few students who attended class and shared their views on the protests.
University management on Tuesday issued a statement saying lectures would commence as scheduled.
