'UFO' sighting in Sandton clarified
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Social media has been flooded with reports of another UFO sighting - this time in Sandton and Soweto.
This comes as a UFO was reportedly seen in Cape Town at the weekend, with Twitter users circulating images online.
Footage was shared on Twitter showing a green light appearing above the Johannesburg skyline while it was reported a crash site was sighted on the intersection of William Nicol and Sandton Drive in Sandton.
The city's Metro Police says the spaceship has caused a traffic frenzy - slowing down traffic.
It has now been clarified that local brand, FutureLife staged a marketing stunt to introduce and promote a new product.

Marketing guys behind #UFOSA watching tweets anxiously, slowly realizing they're going to be beaten to death when they reveal themselves.
