Two suspects in court after Greenwood Park hijacking

The suspects allegedly hijacked a car in the Greenwood Park area.

They then crashed into the 16-year-old twins while being chased by police and a tracker company.

Police spokesperson Thulani Zwane says one of the brothers was killed while the other is still receiving treatment in hospital.

"The police managed to arrest the two suspects after there was a shootout between the police and suspects. One suspect was wounded and taken to hospital. He is under police guard. The two suspects were then charged for possession of stolen property, attempted murder and culpable homicide," he said.
