Two South Africans killed in Israel-Hamas conflict: Embassy

Israel's Embassy in South Africa says two South African citizens have been killed in the conflict with Hamas.
The embassy released a list of killed and missing international citizens earlier on Thursday.
It says one South African is still missing.

Hamas militants launched a surprise attack on Israel on Saturday, killing hundreds and taking dozens of people hostage.
Israel retaliated, besieging Gaza, in a bombardment it says is targeting Hamas militants.
The strikes on the enclave have left over a thousand people dead, while water, food, electricity and fuel supply to the area has been cut off.

The death toll on both sides since the weekend is well over 2 000.
