Two shot dead in Kruger National Park
SanParks says a police officer shot and killed his partner, a park employee, as well as a contract worker.
SanParks spokesperson William Mabasa says the first incident happened at the living quarters and the second at a temporary contractor's site.
"Police are investigating the case. We hope they will be able to get to the bottom of the matter."
He assures potential holidaymakers that the shootings happened far from the visitors' area.
He says the shootings in the popular tourist site, came as a shock.
Mpumalanga police were not immediately available for comment.
