Two Sezela sisters drown after trying to save each other

Two sisters have drowned while trying to save each other on the south coast.

Twelve-year-old Nosipho and 15-year-old Thandekile Mphuma were part of a group of children who’d gone swimming in a dam in Sezela yesterday.

The two girls tried to come to each other’s rescue as they began struggling in the water.
Search and rescue teams have recovered their bodies.
