Two metro police officers 'assaulted with bricks'
Two eThekwini metro police officers have been rushed to hospital after they were attacked during a protest in Isipingo.
Residents gathered on Monday morning and set fire to debris and tyres on Rana Road.

Metro police spokesperson Parbhoo Sewpersad says community members told officers who attended to the protest that they were angry because they didn't have electricity.
