Two KZN murder suspects due in court
Two murder suspects will make their first court appearances today in Umzumbe and Hlabisa.
They were both arrested on Friday - one on the south coast - the other on the north coast.
In the first case, a 37-year-old man was apprehended in Hibberdene for his alleged involvement in the murder of his wife.
The 39-year-old woman was shot dead last Wednesday.
Her husband had allegedly claimed two gunmen were responsible for the murder but police say after further investigations, they were able to link the husband to the killing.

In the second incident in northern KZN, police caught up with a man who had been on the run, allegedly after sexually assaulting and killing his two-year-old step-daughter in Nongoma.
Police say the child was assaulted with a stick a few weeks ago and died as a result.
