Two killed in horror KZN truck, taxi crash

A crash near Isinembe north of Durban has claimed the lives of two people.

A truck and a minibus taxi collided on the R614 Monday afternoon.
According to IPSS Medical Rescue and IPSS Search & Rescue seven passengers of the taxi sustained juries ranging from minor to critical.
“KDM Fire Department worked to extricate the entrapped patients while under the care of IPSS Medical advanced life support,” says spokesperson Samantha Meyrick.
“All patients were transported by IPSS Medical to various facilities for further care.
“Sadly two occupants of the taxi sustained fatal injuries, and were declared on scene.”
Police were on the scene and are investigating the cause of the crash.
