Two people have been hurt after a truck overturned on the N3 near Hammersdale, west of Durban.
The truck crashed while joining the Durban-bound carriageway.
Netcare911's Chris Botha says emergency services are trying to free a person from the wreckage of the truck.
"The two injured were transported through to a hospital nearby to receive further treatment. The truck wreckage is lying in the centre median between the on-ramp and the N3 South," he said.
Motorists are able to move past the scene. Officials are urging motorists to approach the area with caution.
Crisis Medical says three people, including a 15-year-old boy, have been hurt after being struck by a taxi near the Bester Taxi Rank in KwaMashu this morning. Injuries ranged from minor to moderate.
